VIDEO: Life in a Barangay # 006 – At the Vulcanizer
Our favourite vulcaniser in the barangay belongs to the Higaonon tribe of mindanao.
His name is DESIDERIO MATAPOBRE OGABANG.
He has been operating his vulcanising business along the National Highway, Zone 2, in Barangay Cugman, in the town of Cagayan de Oro, In Northern Mindanao since 08 June 2000.
There are so many flatfoots in the area that he earns an income of 1,000-1,500 pesos daily from it. During the day, he has two helpers who support him in his work. He then works the night shift alone.
