Tropensturm ‚Auring‘ hinterlässt 1 Toten, 2 Vermisste

 

 

Tropical depression “Auring,” which weakened into a low pressure area before leaving the country, left one person dead and two missing in the region of Caraga, the country’s disaster council said on Tuesday.

The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council said Auring affected 31,884 families or 121,970 persons in Caraga, Northern Mindanao and Davao. Of this number, 19,898 families or 77,811 persons are staying in evacuation sites.

The council added that at least 240 houses were damaged in the provinces of Davao de Oro, Surigao del Norte and Surigao del Sur.
