Algenblüten-Alarm und Muschel-Verbot
PHILIPPINEN — Das philippinische Fischereibehörde warnt am Freitag die Öffentlichkeit davor, Muscheln an den Küsten von Samar, Leyte, Iloilo, Palawan, Masbate, Negros Oriental und davao Oriental für den menschlichen Verzehr zu sammeln.
Durch Algenblüte und nachgewiesenen Vergiftungen der Muscheln ist der Verzehr von folgenden Gewässern verboten:
Irong-Irong, Marqueda Bay and Villareal Bays in Western Samar;
Matarinao Bay in Eastern Samar;
Carigara Bay in Leyte;
Balite Bay, Mati in Davao Oriental;
Tambobo Bay, Siaton in Negros Oriental;
Inner Malampaya Sound, Taytay and Puerto Princesa Bay, Puerto Princesa City in Palawan;
Coastal waters of Gigantes Island, Carles in Iloilo; and
Coastal Waters of Mandaon and Placer in Masbate
Coastal waters of Daram Island in Western Samar
Coastal waters of Daram Island in Western Samar is now positive for red tide toxin, the BFAR added.
